Restoration of the Cabeza la Vaca Bullring
Summary
The tender covers restoration of the municipal bullring in Cabeza la Vaca, Badajoz, following partial structural collapse. The works include clearing rubble, demolishing unusable or unsafe elements, rebuilding the collapsed masonry and rammed-earth wall with foundations and preliminary investigation pits, reconstructing the damaged seating and providing rainwater drainage, repairing and painting the building, restoring the damaged ornamental lighting, and repairing the affected surrounding road. The site is protected heritage, so the work must follow heritage-protection conditions and use techniques and materials compatible with the original fabric. The completion period is four months; bids may offer a reduction of up to one month, or 30 days. The estimated contract value is EUR 130,377.26 excluding VAT and EUR 157,756.48 including VAT. Evaluation awards up to 60 points for price, 25 for reducing the completion period and 15 for extending the warranty. The minimum warranty is one year. Bids must be submitted electronically within 15 working days of publication of the contract notice and must include a responsible declaration, the required evidence of technical capacity and a bid in the prescribed format. The successful bidder must provide a final performance guarantee equal to 5% of the award price excluding VAT.
