Asphalting works on Los Molinos Street

Summary

The contract covers the repair and resurfacing of approximately 775 m² of Los Molinos Street in Alosno, where heavy rainfall caused subsidence and breaks in the road surface. The work includes removing loose asphalt material, laying selected crushed aggregate sub-base and compacting it to at least 100% of the maximum density obtained in the modified Proctor test, raising affected manholes and inspection chambers, and laying the asphalt pavement. The works use ECL-1 tack coat at a rate of 1.00 kg/m² and a hot-mix D-12 asphalt wearing course up to 15 cm thick, using 60/70-grade bitumen; the asphalt mix must reach at least 97% of the density obtained using the Marshall method. The maximum completion period is one month. The bid ceiling is EUR 49,229.93 excluding VAT, or EUR 59,568.22 including 21% VAT; higher bids will not be accepted. The contract is not divided into lots and variants are not permitted. Price carries up to 60 points and a shorter completion period up to 40 points: a reduction of at least two weeks earns 40 points, and a reduction of at least one week earns 20 points. Bids must be submitted electronically and signed within ten working days, counted from the day after publication of the contract notice. Bidders must demonstrate their capacity to contract and submit the required responsible declaration. The successful bidder must submit a health and safety plan within 10 days of signing the contract; work cannot start until the plan has been approved.
