Technical assistance for archaeological monitoring of Paterna municipality infrastructure works

Summary

The contract covers archaeological monitoring of Aigües Municipals de Paterna’s drinking-water, reclaimed-water and sewer infrastructure works within the municipality of Paterna. The service is ordered as needed and includes preparing and obtaining approval for annual and, where necessary, project-specific archaeological plans; on-site monitoring during demolition and earthworks; recording and labelling finds; preparing reports; and delivering the resulting documentation and materials. Separate archaeological excavations, architectural archaeology, archaeological test trenches and certain other find-processing activities are excluded. The initial contract term is two years, with two possible one-year extensions. The estimated budget for the initial two years is €29,926.20 excluding VAT; the estimated total contract value including extensions is €59,852.40 excluding VAT. Bidders must offer a single overall discount on the unit prices. Payment depends on the actual volume of work ordered, and no minimum revenue is guaranteed. Participation requires evidence of the specified insurance and comparable experience, together with a compliant technical proposal. Evaluation includes the team’s experience and methodology, price, and archaeological monitoring work carried out in Paterna during the previous five years.
