Road construction management and safety coordination in Segovia

Summary

Engineering services are being procured to direct and supervise construction of a new road in Segovia between the Pastor roundabout and the Paseo Campos de Castilla roundabout, and to coordinate health and safety during the works. The contract has two lots: (1) construction management and supervision, including site inspections at least weekly, measurements, monthly certificates and final documentation; and (2) health and safety coordination, including review of the safety plan, coordination of subcontractors and monitoring compliance with safety measures. Bidders may tender for either or both lots; the contractor awarded the underlying construction contract and its related companies are ineligible for these lots. The works are expected to last nine months. Lot 1 runs from the start of the works through final settlement; Lot 2 runs from the start through acceptance of the works. The total estimated value is €46,148 excluding VAT (€55,839.08 including VAT): €32,760 excluding VAT for Lot 1 and €13,388 excluding VAT for Lot 2. Offers are assessed on price (up to 45 points), relevant additional training (up to 15 points) and experience on similar road works (up to 40 points). Bidders must provide evidence of insurance, similar assignments and the required team qualifications, and submit their offers electronically. The submission period is at least 15 calendar days from publication of the contract notice. Award and performance are conditional on sufficient funding being available in the 2027 budget.
