Construction of the drinking-water connection and installation of chlorination and pressure-boosting systems at Castellón Airport

Summary

The tender covers construction of a drinking-water connection to the control tower and industrial area at Castellón Airport, together with the supply and installation of a chlorination system and a pressure-boosting unit. It is divided into three lots: (1) civil works for a new drinking-water connection, including pipework, excavation and connection; (2) supply and installation of an automatic chlorination system; and (3) supply and installation of a pressure-boosting unit. The lot budgets, excluding VAT, are €38,187.50, €9,825 and €8,607 respectively; the total tender budget is €56,619.50 excluding VAT. The works must be completed within 12 weeks of contract signature, and a proposed reduction to the period can earn up to 10 points. Price is worth up to 65 points, while bidding for all three lots earns 25 points; bidders may also tender for just one or more lots. Bids must be submitted electronically within ten working days of publication of the contract notice and include the required declarations, technical suitability statement, register certificate and price schedule for each lot. A visit to the airport facilities is mandatory, and failure to attend excludes the bidder. To arrange the visit, bidders must notify licitaciones@aeroportcastello.com in advance, giving the visitor’s name, identification document number and chosen time; the visitor must bring the document on the day. The contractor must sort construction waste and deliver it to an authorised waste operator, and recycle or reuse equipment packaging where possible. No provisional or final guarantee is required.
