Restoration and adaptation of the Convent of San Francisco

Summary

The contract covers the restoration and adaptation of the Convent of San Francisco in Cañete la Real for cultural, exhibition and tourism use. The works include restoring damaged floors, adapting a side entrance and building an accessible ramp, cleaning and treating painted ceilings and walls, installing conduits beneath the floor for future electrical and climate-control systems, and managing construction waste in accordance with applicable rules. The contractor must protect the building’s historic and architectural features and comply with accessibility, health and safety, and environmental requirements. The total tender budget is €99,577.18 including VAT. The contract period is three months, and the works must be completed by 31 December 2026 at the latest. Offers will be assessed on price (up to 10 points), an extended guarantee period (up to 45 points) and a shorter works period (up to 45 points). Offers must be submitted electronically. No provisional guarantee is required, but the successful tenderer must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract award amount excluding VAT. Subcontracting is permitted up to 80%, and variants are not allowed.
