Strengthening street pavements in the municipality of Sena de Luna

Summary

The tender is for renewing and strengthening the surfaces of streets and other urban roads in several settlements within the municipality of Sena de Luna, to improve travel and repair deteriorated concrete or unpaved sections. Depending on the location, the works include milling and repairing existing surfaces, installing geogrid and laying a 6 cm layer of AC-11 Surf 50/70 hot asphalt mix. Some areas will receive a granular base or a reinforced-concrete parking surface; the works also include a timber-and-metal safety barrier, two new gullies connected to the existing sewer network, and two speed humps with warning signs on the LE-3418 road. The contract is not divided into lots. The estimated value is €353,683.12 excluding VAT, and the maximum tender budget is €427,956.58 including VAT. The works must be completed within four months from signature of the setting-out inspection record. Price carries up to 75 points and the completion period up to 25 points. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and at least two similar works, and submit an electronic offer with the administrative documents, price offer and evidence relevant to the award criteria. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final offered price excluding VAT.
