Emergency Generator Supply for La Herradura Pumping Station

Summary

The procurement is for a new emergency diesel generator for the La Herradura pumping station, to keep the pumps operating during power outages and maintain the required water supply. The unit must be weatherproof, sound-attenuated and three-phase, with at least 310 kVA / 248 kW prime power and 340 kVA / 272 kW emergency power; 400/230 V, 50 Hz and 1,500 rpm; and a maximum sound pressure level of 70.4 dB(A) at 7 metres. The fuel tank must hold at least 449 litres, with minimum operating times of 9 hours at 70% and 7 hours at 100% prime power. Automatic starting, protection and control systems, and CAN and RS485/Modbus interfaces or equivalent solutions are required. Tenderers must provide a technical datasheet with a compliance table for every requirement, an EU declaration of conformity, CE marking and evidence of compliance; installation, operating and maintenance manuals must be in Spanish. Delivery to the CAAF warehouse in Puerto del Rosario is due within three months of contract formalisation, with transport and unloading at the supplier’s expense. The estimated value is €41,000 excluding the Canary Islands’ general indirect tax (IGIC); the budget including 7% IGIC is €43,870. Price is the sole award criterion, and bids exceeding the budget will be rejected. Bids must be submitted electronically, tenderers must be registered in the official register of public-sector tenderers, and only one bid may be submitted; variants are not allowed. No separate financial or technical capacity is required. The equipment must carry a minimum two-year warranty, including repairs at no extra cost, and faults must be resolved within fewer than three working days except in substantiated exceptional circumstances.
