Construction of an artificial-turf football pitch at Maestra Ángeles Cuesta School

The contract covers construction of an artificial-turf seven-a-side football pitch on the existing gravel playing area at Maestra Ángeles Cuesta School in Marchena. The pitch will measure 60 × 40 m; including a 2 m perimeter strip, 2,816 m² of artificial turf will be laid. The works also include stands on two sides of the pitch, an auxiliary building for technical facilities and toilets, and paving and landscaping around the pitch. The works must be completed within six months, with no extension. The estimated contract value is EUR 775,919.42 excluding VAT; the total budget including VAT is EUR 938,862.50. Qualification requires annual turnover of at least EUR 775,919.42 and at least three comparable construction projects completed in the last five years, each with an estimated value of at least EUR 581,939.57. The contractor must assign a general foreman to remain on site throughout the working day and a works manager with at least five years’ relevant experience and the required professional qualification. The successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee of 5% and the required liability and construction all-risk insurance policies.
