Maintenance and restoration works and interior refurbishment of the Golf Chalet cafeteria
Summary
The procurement covers maintenance, conservation, restoration and interior refurbishment works at the cafeteria in the Golf Chalet of the Real Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. The works include selective dismantling, masonry, renewal of finishes and floor coverings, restoration and protection of existing wood panelling and other retained elements, adaptation of electrical installations, and renewal of lighting, furniture and fittings, as well as work on the outdoor terrace. The building’s architectural character, general layout and use must remain unchanged; structural works and extensions are not planned. The works are procured as one integrated contract with no lots. The completion period is 14 weeks from signature of the setting-out record, which must be signed no later than 15 calendar days after contract signature. The estimated tender budget is €155,850.17 excluding VAT and €188,578.71 including VAT. Bids are assessed on price, an extension of the warranty period, the site manager’s relevant additional experience and the quality of the technical method statement. The bid price may not exceed €155,850.17 excluding VAT. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and provide, at a minimum, a site manager and a site foreman with five years’ experience. The bid must include the administrative declarations, the automatic award-criteria form and a project-specific technical method statement of no more than 10 pages. During performance, the contractor must protect retained elements, organise safe works so as to minimise disruption to the Club’s ordinary activities, and submit materials, samples, a quality-control plan and the required health-and-safety documents. Technical evidence must be provided for proposed equivalent materials; the client may also request physical samples.
