Urbanisation and improvement works around the Oruña schools

Summary

The contract covers comprehensive landscaping and improvement of the area around the Oruña schools, preparing it for full use by the new cultural centre. The works include water, sewerage, electricity and stormwater services for the building and plot; a marked vehicular access from the N-611 road; accessibility throughout the site using ramps, railings and handrails; around 15 parking spaces, including spaces for motorcycles and people with reduced mobility; landscaped and leisure areas, a rear service road, a composite perimeter fence, lighting, signs and an identifying sign for the cultural centre. The works also include improving the street-side access and garden bed, providing safe routes for vehicles and pedestrians, and minimising effects on the natural environment. The maximum completion period is four months. The estimated value is €214,479.68 excluding VAT, or €259,520.41 including VAT. Bids are assessed on price, extended warranty, and quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, and social factors. Bids must be submitted electronically within 20 days from the day after publication of the contract notice. Participation requires evidence of the company’s financial and technical capacity, the required declarations, and registration or a pending registration application in the official tenderers’ register.
