Track and electrification works at Astigarraga station

Summary

The contract covers construction works for new tracks and their electrification to serve the platforms at Astigarraga commuter railway station. The work includes constructing two new sidings with a 1,668 mm track gauge, connecting them to the existing tracks, adjusting the alignment of the current track, adapting the overhead contact line and relocating the advance beacon for departure signal S3 to the new track. The works must be completed within four months. The estimated value is EUR 1,920,012.49 excluding VAT, or EUR 2,323,215.11 including 21% VAT. This is an open procedure; the contract is not divided into lots, and tenders are evaluated on quality and price: quality criteria carry 49 points and price 51 points, with a minimum of 30 points required for the quality section. Tenderers must provide the required railway construction classifications, an experienced specialist team and documents addressing work methods, quality, safety, environmental management, technology, the common data environment and risk management.
