Supply of event merchandise and volunteer clothing for The Ocean Race Alicante 2027

Summary

The procurement covers the detailed design, production, event branding, supply and delivery of official merchandise for The Ocean Race’s 2027 Alicante start, together with clothing for volunteers and other event personnel. Quantities include 4,000 printed cotton tote bags, 4,000 branded metal bottles, 2,000 children’s caps and 2,000 adult caps; clothing includes 370 rain jackets, 400 long-sleeved rugby-style polo shirts, 70 rain trousers, 500 volunteer caps, 30 denim shirts and 500 T-shirts. Embroidery and textile-printing applications in different sizes and colours are also required. The work includes approval of samples and colour proofs, collecting sizes and individually sorting garments, packaging, labelling, transport, quality control and free replacement of defective items within five working days. All items must be delivered before 15 December 2026. The contract runs from the day after signature until 31 January 2027; the event takes place from 8 to 17 January 2027. Delivery is to piers 10, 12 and 14 at Alicante Port. There are no lots, and payment is only for goods actually ordered and delivered; unit prices are maximum rates. The budget is €42,268.38 excluding VAT (€51,144.74 including VAT), with an estimated contract value of €46,495.22 excluding VAT, including a possible 10% increase in quantities. Price accounts for 60 points and technical quality for 40. Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €69,000, relevant past performance, suitable production and logistics capacity, and submit the required technical proposal and product data sheets.
