Preparation of the design for a sports centre in Galápagos

Summary

The tender concerns design services for a sports centre for the municipality of Galápagos. The successful contractor must prepare the basic design, detailed execution design, building-services design, and health and safety coordination design, including the required professional endorsements. The delivery period is 60 calendar days from the day after the contract is signed, provided the contracting authority authorises the service to start. The estimated value is €25,000 excluding VAT; the budget including 21% VAT is €30,250. The contract is not divided into lots. Bidders must have annual turnover of at least €37,500 in their best year among the last three completed financial years and must have completed three similar services or works during the previous three years. The professional responsible for the project must hold a higher degree in architecture or engineering and be registered with the relevant professional association. By the bid deadline, the bidder must be registered in the national or Castilla-La Mancha bidders’ register; an application submitted by that deadline also satisfies this requirement. The bid must include a descriptive proposal, graphical material, an infographic and a price offer. Evaluation takes account of price, a shorter project delivery period (50 or 40 days), an additional technical team, and the quality of the descriptive, graphical and visual material. Only one bid may be submitted, in Spanish, and variants are not permitted; bids must be delivered by hand to Galápagos Town Hall. No provisional guarantee is required, but the proposed awardee must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price excluding VAT.
