Maintenance service for scientific equipment at the animal facility on the Majadahonda campus

Summary

The tender covers preventive and corrective maintenance of scientific equipment at the animal facility on the Majadahonda campus of the Carlos III Health Institute. The equipment includes 4 autoclaves, 4 air locks, 4 small pass-through cabinets, 4 air showers, a rack washer, two cage washers, a bottle washer, a soiled-bedding vacuum and a clean-bedding dispenser. Preventive maintenance includes two inspections per year with maintenance kits. Corrective maintenance covers repairs, replacement parts, travel and labour. Spare parts must be new and sourced from the original manufacturer. The service also includes telephone support from 08:00 to 18:00 and response times of up to 2 hours for a telephone response, 3 working hours for remote connection and 8 working hours for an on-site visit after a fault is reported. The contract runs for two years from 4 July 2027, with an estimated value of €161,000 excluding VAT (€194,810 including VAT). Price is the sole award criterion. To participate, bidders must demonstrate the required turnover, comparable maintenance experience, qualified technicians and required certificates, and submit the required declarations and price offer electronically.
