Maintenance service for Agfa X-ray equipment
Summary
The contract covers maintenance of an Agfa-brand X-ray unit at the Palencia University Healthcare Complex. It is an all-inclusive, risk-cover maintenance service, including repairs, spare parts and accessories needed to keep the equipment functioning and restore it to working order. Reliable maintenance is needed to ensure diagnostically adequate radiographic images and protect patients from risks caused by equipment failure or poor image quality. The initial term is 12 months from 1 November 2026, or from the later contract-signing date. Up to three extensions of 12 months each may be granted, for a maximum total term of 48 months. The estimated contract value is €21,000 excluding VAT; the budget for the initial 12-month term is €5,250 excluding VAT, or €6,352.50 including VAT. Price is the sole matter for negotiation, and invoices are paid monthly based on work actually performed. The equipment is located at San Telmo Hospital in Palencia. Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €7,875 in the relevant field in the best of the last three financial years, and similar service experience during the last three years: the total value of such services in the year of highest activity must be at least €3,675 excluding VAT, supported by at least one satisfactory-performance certificate for services with an annual value of at least that amount. The bid must include the required company declarations, financial offer and technical documentation demonstrating compliance with the minimum technical specifications. During performance, the contractor must deliver at least one occupational health and safety training session of at least five hours each year; subcontracting is not permitted. The successful bidder must provide liability insurance with cover of at least €300,000 per claim and a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final offered price excluding VAT.
