Maintenance of storage facilities for a medical supplies warehouse

Summary

The contract covers maintenance of the storage facilities used for UALSAN’s medical supplies warehouse in Madrid: 143 orange-and-blue pallet racks measuring 3.80 × 4.60 × 1.45 m and 185 orange-and-brown racks measuring 3.80 × 1.32 × 0.95 m. The work includes unloading stored goods and returning them to their original positions after maintenance; inspecting rack frames, beams, anchors, pallets and fasteners; replacing defective bolts where necessary; repairing wall damage; applying anti-corrosion coating to exposed steel; cleaning and disinfecting the racks with products approved for the healthcare industry; and reporting work performed and any items requiring corrective repair or replacement. Product technical data sheets must be submitted before use. The contractor supplies and pays for the machinery needed to move pallets. The service period runs from contract signature through 30 November 2026, and work must begin within 48 hours after notice from the contracting authority’s representative. Work will normally take place in Madrid but may also be required elsewhere in mainland Spain, excluding the islands, Ceuta and Melilla. The maximum tender budget is EUR 72,000 including VAT (EUR 59,504.13 excluding VAT). The price discount carries 70 points and the completion deadline 30 points: completion by 10 November 2026 earns 30 points, by 20 November earns 15 points, and later completion earns 0 points. Bidders must be registered in the relevant official bidder register and provide the required declarations, price offer, commitment to adhere to the ethics code, and proof of a visit to the installation or equipment. The technical offer must describe the maintenance method, tasks, response times and available technical resources. The contractor must appoint a project manager from its own workforce and provide suitably qualified staff and the necessary resources. The minimum warranty is 6 months for workmanship and 24 months for supplied spare parts. The contractor must sort the waste it generates.
