Elevator maintenance services for Marchamalo municipal buildings

Summary

The contract is for maintenance services for eight lifts in municipal buildings in Marchamalo. It will run for two years, with two possible one-year extensions, for a maximum total term of four years. The work includes inspections, preventive, corrective and technical maintenance, fault repairs, rescue call-outs, required periodic inspections, and replacement of necessary materials and parts. Repairs must be initiated within four hours of a fault report, and a rescue call-out involving a trapped person must be answered within two hours. The service must be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Preventive visits are generally monthly, with visits every four months for certain residential lift categories. The contractor must also provide maintenance plans, an initial inventory and regular maintenance reports. The maximum tender price is €19,360 including VAT, of which €3,360 is VAT. Price carries up to 90 points. Up to 10 additional points are available for improved response times: reducing the rescue response time from two hours to one earns 5 points; reducing both the repair start time from four hours to three and the rescue response time from two hours to one earns 10 points. Offers must be submitted electronically within 10 working days of publication of the contract notice. The successful bidder must provide a definitive guarantee of 5% of the awarded price excluding VAT within seven working days of the request.
