Tender detail
Preparation of the rehabilitation project and safety study for Los Pacíficos
Summary
The tender is for the preparation of the basic and execution design and a health and safety study for the complete rehabilitation of the listed heritage building known as Los Pacíficos, in the historic centre of Loja. The building is intended to become a coworking centre and an interpretation centre for extra virgin olive oil from western Granada, and the project must also provide for improved energy efficiency. This is a design-services contract, not a construction contract; construction supervision will be arranged by the Provincial Council of Granada. The design must account for heritage-protection requirements and requires prior approval from the regional cultural authority. The work is due within three months: the basic design must be submitted within one month, and the execution design and health and safety document within two months after cultural approval is obtained and notified. The designs must be professionally endorsed and delivered in PDF and editable formats. The designers must meet with the municipal planning service every two weeks and address comments within the specified deadlines. The estimated contract value is €24,793.39 excluding VAT, and the budget ceiling is €30,000 including VAT. Price is the sole award criterion, worth up to 100 points. Bids must be submitted electronically with the required responsible declaration and price offer. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial capacity, relevant design experience and a suitably qualified team led by an architect.
