Renewal of the Main Water-Supply Pipeline and La Fuentezuela Avenue, with Installation of a Pressure-Boosting Unit

The contract covers the complete renewal of the general water-supply pipeline in Cuevas del Becerro, beginning near the regulating reservoir and continuing along the extension of Castillejo promenade and La Fuentezuela Avenue. It also includes complete reconstruction of the avenue and installation of a pressure-boosting unit to address low water pressure in the area. The project also includes works relating to road surfacing, drainage and sewerage, electricity, telecommunications, street lighting, landscaping and road signs. This is a single-lot construction contract with a six-month execution period that cannot be extended. The estimated contract value is €330,257.67 excluding VAT; the maximum tender budget is €399,611.78 including VAT. Evaluation awards up to 60 points for price, 15 for the site manager’s experience and attendance commitment, 15 for an extended warranty, and 10 for the technical memorandum. A minimum of 5 points is required for the technical memorandum. Bidders must submit a priced offer with a detailed budget corresponding to the project’s work items, as well as a technical memorandum covering work organisation, critical activities and solutions to potential problems. Tenders must be submitted electronically. Participation requires registration in the relevant official register, or proof that an application was filed before the submission deadline, and evidence of financial and technical capacity. The technical works manager must have at least two years of construction experience and devote at least 20% of their time to the contract; the site foreman must have more than two years’ experience and work on the contract exclusively. The successful bidder must provide a 5% performance guarantee and evidence of valid civil liability insurance.
