External occupational risk prevention service for Alicante City Council staff

Summary

Alicante City Council is procuring an external occupational risk prevention service for its staff, covering occupational medicine, workplace safety, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics and applied psychosociology. The contractor will support the Council’s in-house prevention service through prevention planning and risk assessments, training and worker information, accident investigations, emergency and evacuation planning, health surveillance when requested, coordination of business activities, and technical advice. The service covers approximately 2,607 employees and around 250 work locations. The contract runs for three years from 14 January 2027, with two possible one-year extensions. The base budget is €151,082.54 excluding VAT (€182,809.88 including VAT); the estimated value, including extensions and the permitted modification, is €309,840.73 excluding VAT. The contract is not divided into lots, and subcontracting is not allowed. Bidders must meet the financial and technical qualification requirements, provide the specified qualified team and authorised facilities, and hold a current National Security Scheme certificate in category MEDIUM or HIGH. Price is worth up to 70 points and documented technical equipment up to 30 points.
