Redevelopment works on Zaragoza Street between Navarra Square and Cabestany Street

Summary

The contract covers the redevelopment of Zaragoza Street in Huesca, between Navarra Square and Cabestany Street. The works include, among other things, road resurfacing, construction of pedestrian areas and sewerage works. The estimated duration is 10 months, starting on the day after the site-setting-out record is signed. The contract is not divided into lots, and bids must be submitted electronically within 20 calendar days from the day after publication of the contract notice. The maximum tender price is EUR 721,729.26 excluding VAT, or EUR 873,292.40 including VAT. Price is worth up to 58 points. The other award criteria are an extended warranty period (0.5 points for each additional month, up to 12 points), a shorter completion period (1 point for each week saved, up to 10 points; a reasoned works programme must be included), and materials with a lower carbon footprint (up to 20 points). To receive environmental points, bidders must submit product declarations for at least three materials that will be used in the works; each properly evidenced product earns 4 points, for up to five products. The bidder must hold the specified works classification or provide the corresponding evidence of economic and technical capacity, and must name a site manager and an archaeologist with the required qualifications and experience. The successful bidder must provide civil liability insurance of at least EUR 1,000,000. Contract delivery also requires, among other things, proper waste management, works, quality-control and health-and-safety plans, and arrangements for traffic management and signage around the worksite.
