Food supplies for the Authorities’ Lounges and catering at the State Pavilion

Summary

The contract covers the supply of food products to the authorities’ lounges in Terminals T123 and T4 at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, as well as catering for events at the State Pavilion. The contractor will supply the products listed in Annex I and, for events, provide refreshments and catering, serving staff, removal of equipment and waste, and cleaning after the event. The contract runs for two years from the start certificate, but may end earlier if the maximum budget is used up. Its maximum value is EUR 59,900 excluding taxes, and the buyer will pay only for supplies and services actually ordered and correctly delivered. The bid must cover every line in both annexes and state one uniform discount percentage to be applied to all unit prices; prices remain fixed throughout the contract. Event catering normally lasts one day, with service for approximately two hours. An event without military honours requires one server and refreshments for 30 people; an event with an honour cordon requires two servers and catering in two areas, for 30 people in each; an event with full ceremonial honours requires three servers, catering for 30 people, and a drink and pastry for up to 140 military personnel. The price for each additional server-hour is EUR 71.20. Events will generally be notified in advance, although an urgent, exceptional request may be made within the final 48 hours. The supplier bears delivery and transport costs, must ensure product quality and timely delivery, and must replace rejected goods within a maximum of four working days. Bids must be submitted electronically with the required declarations. The successful contractor must comply with airport security rules and reduce, reuse and recycle waste during contract performance.
