Children’s Community Activities

Summary

The contract covers the delivery of activities for children aged 0–12 in the municipality of Corvera de Asturias, supporting children’s participation in leisure activities and helping families reconcile work and family life. The service includes activities and creative workshops for young children, storytelling, and craft workshops for ages 3–12. Activities take place in different localities in line with the school calendar from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. The contract may be extended for two further school years, one year at a time. The procurement has three lots: activities for young children, storytelling and crafts. Bidders may submit offers for one, two or all three lots. The lot budgets, including VAT, are €3,000, €9,600 and €15,000 respectively; the total budget is €27,600. The price cap for activities for young children and storytelling is €15 per child per month; for crafts it is €25 per child per month, including €10 for materials. The municipality supplies storytelling materials once the contractor reports the need and provides a cost estimate. The bidder must deliver the activities using qualified staff, prepare a technical project and an activity plan for the first quarter, October to December 2026, and coordinate with the social services. The evaluation awards up to 45 points for price, 49 for the technical project and 6 for a recognised Equality Excellence Mark. The technical project must not exceed 20 pages. Bids must be submitted electronically, and bidders must meet requirements concerning financial capacity, relevant experience, staff qualifications and background checks for staff working with children.
