Summary

The tender covers cleaning the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Chamber of Commerce headquarters and three branch offices in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Santa Cruz de La Palma, Los Llanos de Aridane and Valverde. The work includes offices, toilets, communal areas and glazed surfaces; at the headquarters it also includes tasks such as cleaning furniture, floors and kitchen areas and basic plant care. Tasks are performed daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on the task. Routine cleaning at the three branch offices is weekly, and window cleaning is fortnightly. The bidder must provide at least 4 cleaners for a total of 36 hours per week and 1 specialist window cleaner for 7 hours per week at the headquarters. Each of the three branch offices must have 1 cleaner for at least 3.5 hours per week and 1 specialist window cleaner for at least 1.5 hours every two weeks. The contractor must also arrange weekly removal of recyclable waste, appoint a service coordinator and carry out at least one joint inspection visit per month. The bid must allow for up to 100 additional cleaning hours per year when requested; hours actually performed will be paid at EUR 16 per hour, plus IGIC. The contractor bears the cost of cleaning equipment, materials, products and consumables, including toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and waste bags. Products must be highly biodegradable and free of substances hazardous to health or the environment; recycled toilet paper and paper towels made from 100% recycled cellulose must be used. Waste must be sorted for separate collection. Work takes place on working days outside the Chamber’s opening hours, and staff must wear uniforms and follow occupational safety and access instructions.
