The contract covers maintenance of the urban–forest interface around rural settlements in Cangas del Narcea. Perimeter firebreak strips are to be created and cleared around several villages to provide a safer area and reduce the risk of forest fires near settlements and residents. The work must be completed within two months, and the contract is not divided into lots. The estimated value is €41,805.91 excluding VAT and €45,986.50 including VAT. Price is the sole award criterion and is worth 100 points. Bids must be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days of publication of the contract notice. Bidders must meet the turnover and experience requirements and provide the required declarations; the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final offered price excluding VAT.
