Supply and installation of an operating table for the general surgery theatre at San Agustín University Hospital

Summary

The contract covers the supply, installation and commissioning of one new mobile-base universal operating table for the general surgery operating theatre at San Agustín University Hospital. The existing table is faulty and technologically obsolete. The replacement must meet the technical specifications, including a load capacity of up to 450 kg in the centred position, electric braking, and motorised positioning and longitudinal movement. The supply includes the necessary accessories, arm supports and table extensions for bariatric surgery. Bidders must submit a technical compliance questionnaire, product data sheets and supporting evidence, together with a commitment to make spare parts available for at least 10 years. The equipment must be new, CE-marked and protected against liquids to at least IPX4. The bidder must have annual turnover of at least EUR 45,500 in its best year among the last three financial years and have supplied similar equipment worth at least EUR 45,500 in its best year among the last three years. Evidence of these capacities is waived under the abbreviated procedure, but the bidder must still meet the requirements. Offers must be submitted electronically within 11 working days. The estimated value is EUR 45,500 excluding VAT and EUR 55,055 including VAT. Delivery, installation and commissioning must be completed within two months and no later than 30 December 2026. Price carries up to 55 points; three optional technical features carry up to 15 points each: a programmable patient-position reminder, electric braking that lowers the wheels so the table base rests on the floor, and an independently locking head plate accessible from both sides.
