Maintenance and upkeep of green areas in the Municipality of Tui

Summary

The Municipality of Tui is procuring a single contract for the maintenance and upkeep of municipal green areas for four years, with an option to extend for one further year. The service covers more than 100 locations, including parks, gardens, street greenery, planters, school grounds, roadside green areas and slopes. The contractor must carry out routine and scheduled maintenance and respond to extraordinary needs. Tasks include cleaning and waste removal, weed control and grass cutting, lawn repair, watering, fertilising, plant-health treatments, shrub and hedge trimming, tree pruning, planting and other landscaping maintenance. Grass must be kept no higher than 10 cm, with a cutting height of at least 5 cm; the Paseo Fluvial green area must be aerated and scarified once a year. The contract is not divided into lots. Bids must be submitted electronically. The annual ceiling is €433,058.85 excluding VAT, or €524,001.21 including VAT; bidders may offer a reduction. Price is worth up to 45 of 100 points. Up to 45 points are awarded for the technical organisation and methodology, and 10 points are available for an optional compliant digital service-management and monitoring application. To qualify, bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €433,058.85 and relevant experience: the cumulative value of similar services in the year of greatest activity must be at least €303,141.20 excluding VAT. Bidders must also commit the staff and equipment needed to perform the contract.
