Supply and installation of medical equipment and healthcare supplies for healthcare centres

Summary

MC Mutual is procuring a two-year supply and installation contract for medical devices, furniture and other healthcare equipment at its healthcare facilities. The contract is divided into three lots: radiology equipment; furniture and general medical equipment; and rehabilitation and physiotherapy equipment. Items include digital X-ray systems and components, patient examination and treatment equipment, hospital furniture, and rehabilitation and physiotherapy devices. The contract is expected to start in January 2027, is subject to the required ministerial authorisation, and has no planned extensions. The budget for the initial two-year period is €1,089,113.50 excluding VAT. The budgets are €687,360 for Lot 1, €137,696 for Lot 2 and €264,057.50 for Lot 3, all excluding VAT. Prices are unit-based and estimated quantities are indicative, not a purchase commitment; actual order quantities may vary, but the budget and maximum unit prices must not be exceeded. Bids must price every listed item or they will be rejected. Applicable VAT is added to the bid price. The supplier must deliver and install equipment that meets the technical specifications, provide technical data sheets for all offered products, and demonstrate the required turnover, experience in comparable supplies and authorisation to supply medical devices. Lot 1 also requires authorisation to sell and provide technical assistance for medical diagnostic X-ray equipment. Products must remain in the manufacturer’s catalogue, with spare parts available for at least five years after delivery. Before contract signature, the successful bidder must provide proof of liability insurance of at least €100,000, valid throughout the contract, and name a single contract contact. Bids must be submitted electronically with the European Single Procurement Document, declarations, a participation-status form, and an automatically evaluated technical offer and financial offer for each lot. Price accounts for 65 of 100 points in the radiology lot, 80 points in the furniture and equipment lot, and 70 points in the rehabilitation lot; the remaining points are awarded for lot-specific technical features. The financial offer is scored in relation to the lowest price.
