Supply of a Mixed-System Wood Chipper for Municipal Gardening

Summary

The contract is for the supply of a new mixed-system wood chipper for the municipality of Prado del Rey’s gardening and maintenance work. The machine must use both hammers and blades and be suitable for chipping branches and processing material from maintenance work. It must have a petrol engine rated at 18.5 kW (25 hp), with a displacement of 725 cm³ and two cylinders; it must handle branches up to 13 cm in diameter and have a processing capacity of 13 m³ per hour. The rotor must have at least 10 hammers and 2 blades, weigh no more than 85 kg, and the machine must weigh no more than 750 kg. Its dimensions must be 3770 × 1600 × 2140 mm, the feed roller must be at least 250 mm wide and the hopper at least 715 mm high. The equipment must be supplied on an unbraked trailer towable with a category B driving licence. The supplier must provide the machine with accessories, warranty documents and the required technical documentation, and deliver it to the Prado del Rey town hall within three months from the day after the contract is signed. The estimated contract value is EUR 26,495 and the tender budget ceiling is EUR 32,058.95, including EUR 5,563.95 VAT. The supplier bears delivery, transport and registration costs. Price is worth 50 points, additional warranty years 25 points, one extra compatible set of hammers and blades 10 points, and a second extra set 15 points. The minimum warranty is three years; any additional warranty must be offered in whole years. No tender guarantee is required, and variants are not permitted.
