Private Security and Surveillance Services for Almería Municipal Parks

Summary

Almería is procuring two years of private security and surveillance services, with no extension option, for five municipal or municipally managed parks: Las Familias, Andarax, La Hoya, La Goleta and El Boticario. The work covers protecting property and people, patrols, controlling access and vehicle movements, opening and closing the parks, keeping keys, and monitoring security and alarm systems. The contract covers 17,436 hours in total. Las Familias requires nightly coverage every day from 22:00 to 06:00; El Boticario requires coverage from 14:00 to 24:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 24:00 on weekends and public holidays. At the other parks, guards provide daily coverage around opening and closing times. The contract runs for two years from the day after it is signed. The budget is EUR 357,070.64 excluding VAT and EUR 432,055.47 including 21% VAT. It is a single-lot open procedure, assessed on both quality and price: quality criteria account for 51% of the score and price for 49%. Bidders may offer up to 180 additional surveillance hours at no extra charge for weekends or public holidays, as well as technical improvements. Subcontracting is not permitted.
