Supply of materials for dynamic rockfall barriers at dams in Almería

Summary

The procurement covers 990 m² of dynamic mesh rockfall barriers to protect dam slopes. The complete systems must comply with ETAG 27 and include high-tensile steel wire mesh, metal posts, base plates, support and retaining cables, anchors, cable guides, cable fasteners, shackles, brakes, energy dissipators and other necessary components. The required quantities are 240 m² of barriers with 2,000 kJ energy absorption capacity and a height of 5 m; 360 m² with 1,000 kJ and 4 m; 180 m² with 500 kJ and 3 m; and 210 m² with 100 kJ and 3 m. Materials will be delivered to the Cuevas del Almanzora and Benínar dams in Almería province. The planned allocation is 750 m² and 240 m² respectively, with the final allocation confirmed when the order is placed. The estimated contract value is €130,170 excluding VAT (€157,505.70 including 21% VAT). The bid must cover the whole supply and all four unit prices; partial bids and bids over budget are not accepted, and a zero-total bid is rejected. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically by 19 October 2026 at 10:00. The contract runs for 5 months, the performance period is 2 months, and the delivery period for partial orders is 1 month. The goods carry a one-year warranty. Bidders must be registered in the ROLECE register and demonstrate annual turnover of at least €104,200 and experience with similar supplies worth at least €91,200; both thresholds are assessed using the best result in 2023–2025. The required compliance declaration and price schedule with unit prices must be submitted. Before delivery, the supplier must submit a Declaration of Performance and, where applicable, CE marking for approval; each delivery must include the required technical product information.
