Supply of hoses for the INFOEX firefighting service

Summary

The tender is for 428 firefighting hoses for vehicles used by the INFOEX forest-fire response service in Extremadura. Each hose must be 20 m long, have a 25 mm diameter and be fitted with Barcelona-type couplings at both ends. The hoses must meet the tender documents’ technical requirements, including a visible yellow, flexible four-layer construction resistant to wear, chemicals and extreme temperatures, as well as specified pressure, burst-strength, tensile-strength and weight limits supported by laboratory evidence. Delivery is due within one month after acceptance of the contract award decision, to the INFOEX Regional Operations Centre in Aldea Moret, Cáceres province. The estimated price is €59,920 excluding VAT and €72,503.20 including 21% VAT; the unit price must not exceed €140 excluding VAT per hose. Price is worth up to 91 points. Up to 9 additional points are available for offering, at no extra cost, up to 18 additional hoses meeting the same specifications, with one point for every two extra hoses. Bids must be submitted electronically with the price proposal, responsible declaration and, if claiming points for extra hoses, the relevant form. Bidders are exempt from proving economic and technical capacity.
