Project design and construction supervision for the refurbishment of the Virgen del Mar building envelope

Summary

The tender is for services to prepare and oversee the refurbishment of the exterior envelope of the Virgen del Mar building in Almería. The work comprises drafting the project and subsequently directing the construction works and acting as contract manager. The planned works cover the façade, windows, terraces and roof, as well as making the entrance accessible from outside. The project must be drafted within 85 working days of contract signature. Construction supervision is initially expected to last eight months and also includes final account and post-warranty tasks. The estimated contract value is €51,985.14 excluding VAT, with a total budget of €62,902.02 including 21% VAT. This is an open procedure; the tender submission period is 15 calendar days from the day after publication of the contract notice. The contract is not divided into lots and variants are not permitted. Evaluation covers price (46 points), additional weekly site visits (3 points for each additional visit on a different day, up to 9 points), and qualitative assessment (45 points); at least 27 qualitative points are required to advance to the next evaluation stage. Among other requirements, the bidder must provide a qualified architect with at least three years’ standing and professional liability insurance of at least €300,000.
