Damage assessment and restoration proposal for Torreón de la Peça and the Calp town walls
Summary
The contract is for a damage assessment of Calp’s historic Torreón de la Peça (14th–15th century) and the surviving town walls, together with a proposal for restoration and preventive conservation. The work includes assessing the entire defensive complex, describing damage and its possible causes, preparing a damage map, and proposing suitable treatments and preventive measures. The final report must include descriptions of the monuments, a diagnosis of damage, proposed treatments, photographic and graphic documentation, a detailed budget for possible intervention, and the CVs and qualification evidence of the specialists who prepared the project. The report is due within three months of contract signature; two bound paper copies and two digital copies must be submitted. The maximum budget is EUR 4,500 including taxes. The bidder must provide a specialist qualified in the conservation and restoration of archaeological heritage. Evaluation awards up to 40 points for the technical proposal, 49 for price and 11 for a commitment to corporate volunteering activities.
