Renovation and adaptation of the Huétor Vega municipal swimming pool: ceiling, lighting and signage

Summary

The contract covers phase 3 of the renovation of the municipal swimming pool in Huétor Vega so it can be brought into service. Works include removing the existing changing-room suspended ceiling and installing a new ceiling with corrosion-resistant framing and panels suitable for humid conditions; installing and connecting 42 LED panels and 22 watertight recessed lights; and preparing the glazed surfaces and producing and fitting vinyl films for solar control and identification of the building and its rooms, together with signs and internal wayfinding. Necessary connections, finishing, tests, waste management and cleaning are also included. The procurement is a single contract and is not divided into lots. The estimated price is €43,050.83 excluding VAT (€52,091.50 including VAT), and the works must be completed within two months from the day after the site-setting-out record is signed. Bids must be submitted electronically. Each bidder must offer one discount percentage against the total budget excluding VAT and may offer an extension to the warranty: the minimum warranty is one year and the total warranty may be extended to a maximum of three years. Price is worth up to 70 points and the warranty extension up to 30 points. The bidder with the best offer must demonstrate the required turnover, comparable previous works, personnel and equipment, and provide public liability insurance of at least €150,000. The final performance guarantee is 5% of the offer price excluding VAT; an additional 5% guarantee is required if an offer initially considered abnormally low is accepted after justification. The bid submission period is 20 calendar days from the day after publication of the contract notice. Award of the contract is conditional on confirmation of part of its funding.
