Occupational Health and Safety Prevention Service and Business-Activity Coordination

Summary

The tender is for an external occupational health and safety prevention service for Informació i Comunicació de Barcelona (ICB). The scope covers workplace safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, applied psychosociology and coordination of business activities (CAE). The provider will assess and update workplace risks, plan preventive measures, investigate accidents and incidents, deliver training, conduct inspections and organise at least one announced and one unannounced emergency drill each year. The service also requires at least one full psychosocial risk assessment using the ISTAS21 methodology, CAE coordination through a digital platform, and advice for ICB staff and for filming, events and installations carried out away from the usual workplace. The estimated workload covers 226 employees and 400 hours per year, including at least two on-site technician visits per month for eleven months each year. The contract runs for one year and may be extended three times for one year each. The first-year budget is EUR 18,000 excluding VAT; the estimated total including extensions is EUR 72,000 excluding VAT. Bidders must hold the required external prevention-service accreditation, demonstrate annual turnover of at least EUR 27,000 and comparable experience, and provide a senior occupational risk prevention technician with at least three years’ experience. Price accounts for up to 74 points, the technical service proposal up to 15 points, and other automatic criteria and improvements up to 11 points.
