Framework agreement for radiology, magnetic resonance and ultrasound examinations for the Cantabrian Health Service
Summary
The framework agreement covers diagnostic radiology services for the Cantabrian Health Service: magnetic resonance and computed tomography scans, ultrasound, mammography, bone-density measurements and plain radiography. The services include carrying out examinations and reporting their results, as well as reading images and preparing reports for examinations performed at the Health Service’s own centres. The provider will carry out examinations at its proposed premises using suitable equipment and appropriately qualified staff. The procurement is divided into 18 lots, and bidders may tender for one, several or all lots. Each lot may be awarded to up to three providers; activity will be allocated among the successful bidders according to their ranking, with no minimum volume guaranteed. The framework agreement will run for 24 months and may be extended twice for up to 12 months each time. Bids must state unit prices for the main service and applicable ancillary services and include technical information about the equipment and service arrangements. Price is worth up to 48 points; equipment features, the time taken to perform examinations and deliver results, and accessibility of the provider’s location are worth up to 52 points. Participation requires evidence of the specified turnover, professional liability insurance of at least €1,000,000, relevant experience from the last three years and a suitably qualified team.
