BW50 Bridge Replacement – Main Works (BMP)

Summary

Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is replacing the BW50 bridge carrying the A3 over the A93 near Regensburg. The main works include demolishing the existing four-part structure and constructing its replacement, along with restoring the affected A3 and A93 carriageways, parallel carriageways and ramps, and modifying drainage. The replacement bridge is approximately 5,042 m²; the main works are scheduled from January 2027 to April 2031. Long-term traffic management is procured separately as Lot B.
