Strengthening and modernisation of the Upper and Lower Klammtunnels

Summary

ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG is procuring works to modernise and strengthen the Upper and Lower Klammtunnels on the Schwarzach–St. Veit im Pongau–Spittal an der Millstättersee railway line, between km 7.416 and 8.949. The works include strengthening existing tunnel linings, repairing portals, adding access shafts to the main tunnel drainage, installing signage and escape-route markings, upgrading approach roads, and constructing supports for the overhead line or conductor rail.
