Tunnel connection to the Heart Center and integration of the driverless transport system, Building 60a

Summary

The procurement covers works to connect the Heart Center (Building 61) by tunnel and install and integrate a driverless transport system (AWT). The tunnel must connect the buildings and support both bed and goods transport. In the first phase, the AWT must use existing vehicles and provide bidirectional goods transport; the tunnel must also be prepared for later use by freely navigating vehicles. The works include adapting the system to the existing vehicles, interfacing the fire door, lifts and electrically operated swing doors, and giving emergency transport priority. The bidder must take account of the already appointed tunnel solution contractor and describe the required functions in its concept. The tender submission deadline is 21 October 2026.
