Struktur- und Genehmigungsdirektion Nord is procuring specialist consultancy and engineering services to investigate and monitor the former mining waste and flotation tailings heap near Laurenburg, including a sinkhole in the retention basin and the Hurbach channel. The work covers site and geotechnical-hydrogeological investigations, a monitoring programme, a hazard assessment and a preliminary comparison of at least three stabilisation or remediation options with rough cost estimates. The initial monitoring period is 12 months; drilling, laboratory, construction and equipment supply are separate services unless expressly included in the priced schedule.
