Technical systems and elevator design – centralizing supply and waste logistics, Subproject 2

Summary

The German Red Cross Sisters Berlin charitable hospital is procuring specialist design services for the centralization of supply and waste logistics in Building I at DRK Kliniken Berlin Westend, as Subproject 2 of its hospital restructuring programme. The contract covers technical building-services design for service phases 2–8, including power systems, telecommunications and information systems, and conveying systems. The works are planned within an existing hospital that will remain in operation; the project has a gross construction budget of EUR 10,280,000, including a 10% contingency allowance.
