Zornige Ameise – Lot 1: Railing construction
Summary
The City of Essen is procuring Lot 1: removal of the existing railing and construction of a new railing along approximately 260 metres of retaining wall on Wuppertaler Straße/Ruhrallee, beside the Zornige Ameise road. The work includes supplying and installing prefabricated, hot-dip-galvanised steel railing at least 1.30 metres high, with the specified cable routing and anchoring, and handling the PCB-contaminated coating and resulting waste. Concrete repairs to the retaining wall are being procured separately.
