IGA Emscher Cycle Route Landscaping Works

Summary

The City of Essen is procuring landscaping and path works for the IGA Emscher Cycle Route. The works include clearing and disposing of vegetation and materials, preparing and modelling the ground, constructing asphalt path surfaces, installing root barriers and signs, seeding and maintaining grass areas, caring for trees, and providing traffic-safety and diversion measures. The bill of quantities includes, among other items, 2,100 m² of 8 cm asphalt base course, 2,000 m² of 4 cm asphalt surfacing, and disposal of 440 m³ of contaminated sub-base material. The works are to begin immediately after award and be completed by 31 March 2027; no lots are specified.
