Roof refurbishment at the Hameln Youth Detention Centre sports hall and changing block

Summary

Staatliches Baumanagement Weser-Leine is commissioning roof refurbishment at building 2.6 of the Hameln Youth Detention Centre in two consecutive sections, not separate lots. The approximately 1,000 m² sports hall roof will be rebuilt as a pitched aluminium standing-seam roof, with insulation, façade cladding, drainage, fall protection and preparation for later photovoltaic panels. The approximately 750 m² changing-block roof will be rebuilt as an insulated warm roof with a single-layer synthetic waterproofing membrane and extensive green-roof finish; the works also include drainage, roof windows, fall protection, lightning protection and preparation for later photovoltaic panels. Maintenance of the roof safety cable systems is also included.
