Sample-based monitoring of the European tree frog in Lower Saxony in 2027
Summary
The Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation Agency is commissioning sample-based surveys of European tree frog populations in Lower Saxony in 2027. The work is divided into four lots covering 30 known population sites in the Rotenburg/Wümme district; the Uelzen and Lüchow-Dannenberg districts; the Oldenburg, Diepholz and Osnabrück districts; and the Hanover region and Hildesheim district. Each site is to be surveyed three times, with findings, habitat assessments and records of relevant accompanying species delivered as mapped data and individual lot reports. Mapping data are due by 15 October 2027, and the final reports by 15 December 2027.
