Tender detail
Collection and management of screen oversize from biowaste processing in 2027
Summary
The contract covers the collection, transport and proper recovery or disposal in 2027 of woody screen oversize generated during biowaste processing. The composting facility in Mechernich-Strempt is expected to produce approximately 750 tonnes; the pricing assessment covers 550–900 tonnes per year. The waste is handed over in the condition in which it arises and may contain impurities and compost residues. The bidder must identify the facility it will use and ensure that all waste handed over to it is properly managed. Collection is arranged on request using hook-lift containers and must take place within 5–10 working days at an agreed time. Prices must include acceptance, transport, any processing, recovery or disposal costs, and the cost of emissions allowances applicable in 2027. The tender must state separate unit prices for logistics and for recovery or disposal. The contract runs from 1 January to 31 December 2027, with monthly billing based on weighing records. The submission deadline is 22 October 2026 at 10:00. The evaluation criterion is the calculated total tender price. The bidder must submit a suitability declaration or valid prequalification details and a list of comparable services performed in the last three years, including their value, period and client contact details. The required exclusion-ground declarations must also be submitted, together with relevant subcontractor or consortium information where applicable.
