CNC plasma cutting table
Summary
The contract is for the purchase of one CNC plasma cutting table for the workshop of the Fraunhofer Ernst Mach Institute in Efringen-Kirchen. The machine must be suitable for cutting aluminium and galvanised sheet metal and include CNC control, cutting and nesting software, a plasma unit, a water table, fume and dust extraction, and the specified control and safety features. Its maximum installation dimensions are 2,600 × 1,500 × 1,900 mm, and the cutting area must be at least 2,050 × 1,050 × 100 mm. Requirements include a processing speed of at least 20 m/min, portal clearance of at least 85 mm, table load capacity of at least 395 kg/m², piercing capacity of 22 mm and maximum material cutting thickness of 42 mm; better performance may receive higher evaluation scores. The table must be movable and have modular, replaceable support segments. The machine must support DXF/DWG files, Wi-Fi and USB data transfer, and a licence for at least three computers. Before acceptance, the manufacturer must provide on-site training in German. The net offer price must not exceed EUR 35,000. The offer must state a binding delivery time in whole weeks from contract award and include the manufacturer’s part number and a completed technical details table explaining how the proposed machine meets the requirements. Price accounts for 40% of the evaluation and technical performance for 60%. To participate, bidders must submit a company profile, turnover figures for 2022–2024 (and, if available, 2025), and at least one reference for a comparable project dating from 2023 or later, including an equipment description and customer contact details. A signed declaration concerning exclusion grounds and a signed export-classification form are also required, as is a signed acknowledgement of the latest bidder information issued during the procedure if applicable.
