Structural engineering design services under HOAI 2021, Section 51 and Annex 14, with the standard BIM process

Summary

Landkreis Ostalbkreis, through Eigenbetrieb Immobilien Kliniken Ostalb, is procuring structural engineering design services for the new regional hospital in Essingen. The services cover HOAI work stages 1–9, commissioned in stages, for the main hospital building and service yard, the energy centre, the medical centre/doctors’ building, and the education centre/nursing school; the contract is not divided into lots. The hospital is planned to have approximately 49,000 m² of usable floor area and around 650 beds and places, with design carried out using BIM.
